I remember about two months before the initial Lyme fever I had one of the worst nights of sleep ever but let me explain the prelude. It was my birthday and I was very fatigued but I managed to invite a friend over to have a celebration in a sense. All I can truly remember from that day is that I was extremely tired. I literally was so tired that I could not keep my eyes open and all I could remember was laying on the couch pretending to watch a movie with my friend as I lay there with my eyes closed.
Here is where things took a turn. I ended up eating a piece of carrot cake and within an hour or so I could feel my body start to vibrate like a cell phone.
As the night went on, the buzzing sensation throughout my body got worse and when it came time to close my eyes and go to sleep for the night, unheard of. Despite being so fatigued earlier, when it came time to sleep I couldn't because I was so scared.
I didn't know what was happening in my body and I wanted answers but how could I explain such a symptom to anyone. Eventually I would come to speculate that the sugar in the carrot cake triggered something but to this day, I still don't have an answer for the cause and it never happened again
