Directions
Slice your bell peppers and onion into thin pieces. Heat a large pan to medium heat (No. 5), and once the pan is hot, add some olive oil to the pan. Then add your peppers, onions, and season everything with some salt and black pepper. Stir everything continuously for 5 minutes, then put the lid on the pan, and reduce the heat to medium-low (No. 2) for 15-20 minutes. The peppers and onions are done when a chef's knife penetrates a pepper by its own weight. Remove the pan from the stove, chop up the basil and add it to the dish. Correct seasoning with salt and pepper if need be.
