The only other time I had pain that bad was after consuming raw coconut and oil of oregano, both of which are big anti-fungals just like Turmeric. I'll be sure to watch how much Turmeric I use in my eggs from now on.
See, what has occurred here is a phenomenon that is nothing but overlooked. I unintentionally used food as medicine. See most people in the industrialized world are lead to believe that there exists just disease and a cure, known or unknown. It should be obvious that this perspective has been drilled into our heads by modern day corporations.
My point is that the body doesn't just exist. It's constantly diseased on levels that we will never be apparent unless we look through a microscope. We also unknowingly remedy these diseases by consuming food that contains astounding elements such as vitamins, minerals, enzymes, antioxidants, amino acids, etc. These elements are constantly repairing our diseased body without us even being aware of the entire process. The reason is that it all happens on such a microscopic level.
For example, you go to the gym and lift some weights. The next day you are sore. You're sore because you've torn your muscle and in a sense because a torn muscle is not a properly functioning part of the body, it is "diseased". You remedy this "disease" by consuming food such as meat which contains protein which is then used by the body to repair the muscle. In a few days later, you'll be good as new! It may not be obvious at the time but food was used as medicine here.
This was just one example. This process happens all the time throughout every part of our bodies. This is the reason why when you're healthy, you remain in a disease free state because your body is constantly repairing itself with food on levels that are not an intrusion to our daily lifestyle. The body doesn't just exist naturally in a disease free state. It exists in a constant state of battle against disease to remain in that state of health that most of us take for granted.
As I quote the great Hippocrates, "'Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food'".
I will be swapping out the cumanda in my protocol for oil of oregano today. Slowly will I decrease the dosage of cumanda as I slowly increase the dose of oregano. This basically means that I'll be on oil of oregano alongside samento and that, from what I hear, is quite the potent combination.
I've been on this protocol for 10.5 months as May 7 will be 11 months. I really can not believe that I have been treating myself for almost a year. The duration alone just takes my breath away.
The symptoms continue to dissipate but the brain fog can still be bad at times. I am excited though for the combination of samento and oil of oregano as I hear from others how seriously effective it is. Being how far I've progressed, I'm ready for an all out surge against the bacteria. This will be my strongest and most effective combination of herbs yet.
You don't need to convince anyone that you're ill. I mean, if you're trying to get on the appropriate treatment protocol, yes but over all, you don't owe anyone any type of explanation. Sure, they'll be curious and they may even throw their doubt right at your feet but you don't need people like that on your journey to remission.
Chronic Lyme Disease may never get the mainstream attention that is so desperately needs but that should never be an excuse for you to not heal. Just because Lyme Disease isn't viewed in the same light as cancer or diabetes, doesn't mean that you can't heal. Many use this as a crutch and they shouldn't.
It is beyond a reasonable doubt that truth and knowledge will always exist but they may not always be easy to access. It is your job to play the role of an investigator in the life of lies and seek the truth and knowledge that will set you free. The answers are there for the taking as you and only you can find them. Light would not exist without the dark, fear would not exist without strength and courage, and the lies that plague our world would not exist without the truth and justice we yearn for.
You're going to be all right. Just keep pushing forward. Patience. Persistence. Warrior.
